इस महान पुरस्कार के पूर्व प्राप्तकर्ताओं में भारत के पहले प्रधानमंत्री जवाहर लाल नेहरू, संयुक्त राज्य के पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री विंस्टन चर्चिल, मार्गरेट थैचर, सिंगापुर के पहले प्रधानमंत्री ली क्वान यू, दक्षिण अफ्रीका के पहले राष्ट्रपति नेल्सन मंडेला शामिल हैं, साथ ही मॉडर्न सामंतों जैसे जॉन केरी, बिल गेट्स, रॉजर पेनरोज, एड शीरन, सारा गिलबर्ट, हैरी केन, साजिद महमूद, और एबनी रेनफोर्ड-ब्रेंट भी हैं।
