‘लोकतंत्र की जीत हुई है’, लोकसभा की सदस्यता बहाली के बाद राहुल गांधी जाएंगे वायनाड
सुप्रीम कोर्ट द्वारा ‘मोदी सरनेम’ टिप्पणी मामले में 4 अगस्त को उनकी सजा पर रोक लगाने के बाद लोकसभा सचिवालय ने सोमवार को राहुल गांधी की सदस्यता बहाल कर दी है.
नई दिल्ली : कांग्रेस महासचिव केसी वेणुगोपाल ने मंगलवार को बताया कि राहुल गांधी 12-13 अगस्त को दो दिन के लिए केरल के अपने लोकसभा क्षेत्र वायनाड का दौरा करेंगे.
संसद में लोकसभा सदस्य के तौर पर सोमवार को फिर से वापसी के बाद यह उनकी पहली यात्रा होगी. इस संबंध में, कांग्रेस महासचिव केसी वेणुगोपाल ने ट्विटर पर लिखा, “राहुल गांधी जी 12-13 अगस्त को अपने लोकसभा क्षेत्र वायनाड में होंगे! वायनाड के लोग इस बात से खुश हैं की लोकतंत्र की जीत हुई है और उनकी आवाज वापस संसद में लौट आई है! राहुल महज एक सांसद नहीं, बल्कि उनके परिवार के एक सदस्य हैं!”
इससे पहले, सुप्रीम कोर्ट द्वारा ‘मोदी सरनेम’ टिप्पणी मामले में 4 अगस्त को उनकी सजा पर रोक लगाने के बाद लोकसभा सचिवालय ने सोमवार को राहुल गांधी की सदस्यता बहाल कर दी थी.
कांग्रेस नेता, जिन्हें मार्च 2023 में निचले सदन से अयोग्य ठहरा दिया था फिर से वायनाड के सांसद के तौर पर उनकी सदस्यता बहाल कर दी गई है.
सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने शुक्रवार को एक अंतरिम आदेश में, ‘मोदी सरनेम’ टिप्पणी को लेकर मानहानि मामले में गांधी की सजा पर रोक लगा दी थी.
शीर्ष अदालत ने गुजरात उच्च न्यायालय के आदेश को चुनौती देने वाली कांग्रेस नेता की अपील पर जुलाई में गुजरात सरकार को नोटिस जारी किया था.
इससे पहले, गुजरात हाईकोर्ट ने अपने एक आदेश में सूरत कोर्ट द्वारा ‘मोदी सरनेम’ टिप्पणी मामले में आपराधिक मानहानि को लेकर राहुल गांधी को सुनाई गई 2 साल की सजा पर रोक लगाने से मना कर दिया था.
इस मामले में सजा के बाद, गांधी को 24 मार्च को केरल के वायनाड से सांसद के तौर पर डिस्क्वालीफाइड कर दिया गया था.
