लखनऊ : समाजवादी पार्टी (सपा) अध्यक्ष अखिलेश यादव ने राम मनोहर लोहिया के बताये रास्ते पर आगे बढ़ने का संकल्प लिया। यादव ने यह बात राम मनोहर लोहिया की पुण्यतिथि पर उनकी प्रतिमा पर माल्यार्पण करने के बाद कही। यादव ने आज हम डॉ. राम मनोहर लोहिया को याद करने आये हैं, जिन्होंने समाज को बुराई से बचाने, असमानता को समाप्त करने का समाजवादी रास्ता दिखाया। नेता जी (मुलायम सिंह यादव) ने उनके दिखाए रास्ते पर चलकर काम किया। हम संकल्प लेते हैं कि हम समाजवाद को मजबूत करने और भविष्य में इसे आगे बढ़ाने के लिए इसी रास्ते पर चलने का काम करेंगे। अखिलेश यादव ने कहा, आज हम लोग डॉ. राम मनोहर लोहिया को याद करने आए हैं, जिन्होंने समाजवादी रास्ता दिखाया, जिस रास्ते पर चलते हुए नेता जी (मुलायम सिंह यादव) ने संघर्ष किया ताकि समाज को तमाम बुराइयों से बचाया जा सके, समाज में संपन्नता आये, समाज में गैरबराबरी खत्म हो। उन्होंने कहा, जो रास्ता डॉ. राम मनोहर लोहिया जी ने दिखाया, उसी पर चलने का हम संकल्प लेते हैं ताकि भविष्य में इस समाजवाद को और मजबूत किया जा सके, समाजवादी विचारधारा को आगे ले जाया जा सके। डॉ. राम मनोहर लोहिया का जन्म 1910 में हुआ था। लोहिया एक स्वतंत्रता सेनानी और गांधीवादी विचारों को मानने वाले थे। उन्होंने वंचित समुदायों के राजनीतिक सशक्तिकरण के लिए भी काम किया और कांग्रेस के खिलाफ विपक्षी दलों को एकजुट करने का काम भी किया। 12 अक्टूबर 1967 को उनका निधन हो गया था।
