तमिलनाडु ओलंपिक एसोसिएशन ने ३7वें नेशनल गेम्स के लिए 446 एथलीटों का दल किया रवाना
तमिलनाडु ने गोवा में आयोजित होने वाले 37वें गेम्स की तैयारियां लगभग पूरी कर ली है. तमिलनाडु 37वें राष्ट्रीय खेलों के लिए 446 एथलीटों का एक दल भेज रहा है, जो 36 इवेंट में भाग लेंगे. गोवा नेशनल गेम्स के लिए तमिलनाडु 116 अधिकारियों का दल भी भेज रहा है.
इस मौक़े पर तमिलनाडु ओलंपिक एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष इसारी के.गणेश और महासचिव श्री आधव अर्जुन ने 37वें राष्ट्रीय खेलों में भाग लेने वाले तमिलनाडु के सभी 446 एथलीटों का स्वागत किया है. इस मौक़े पर तमिलनाडु ओलंपिक एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष, इसारी के. गणेशऔर महासचिव श्री आधव अर्जुन ने एथलीटों की आधिकारिक वर्दी लॉन्च की . उन्होंने एथलीटों की परेड के लिए खेल उपकरण भी लॉन्चकिए. चेन्नई के नेहरू इंडोर स्टेडियम में सभी 446 एथलीट और प्रतिनिधि एकत्रित हुए . जिसके बाद सभी 446 एथलीटों को तमिलनाडुओलंपिक एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष श्री इसारी गणेश, महासचिव श्री आधव अर्जुन और सचिव श्रीमती सी.लता ने गोवा के लिए रवाना किया.
इस मौक़े पर महासचिव आधव अर्जुन ने कहा कि तमिलनाडु के एथलीट का ओलंपिक में स्वर्ण पदक जीतने का सपना जल्द ही पूरा होगा. उन्होंने कहा कि यह तमिलनाडु के लिए गर्व की बात है कि हमने एशियाई खेलों में पदक जीते हैं. उन्होंने दोहराया कि यदि खिलाड़ी राष्ट्रीयखेलों में पदक जीतता है तो जल्द ही उनके सम्मान में एक भव्य समारोह आयोजित किया जाएगा
उन्होंने सभी खिलाड़ियों से अनुरोध किया कि एशियाई खेलों में भाग लेने वाले सभी खिलाड़ियों को उनके माता–पिता के साथ भाग लेने कीव्यवस्था की जाएगी. उन्होंने अगले साल जनवरी में तमिलनाडु राज्य ओलंपिक संघ की तरफ़ से एक भव्य मिनी–ओलंपिक खेल आयोजित करने का वादा किया है.
ग़ौरतलब है कि गोवा में आयोजित हो रहे 37वें नेशनल गेम्स में जश्न के साथ कई रोमांचक खेलों की शुरुआत की जाएगी. गुजरात में पिछलेसंस्करण में 36 प्रतिस्पर्धाओं को शामिल किया गया था, वही केरल के 2015 संस्करण में 33 प्रतिस्पर्धाओं को शामिल किया गया था, इससाल का राष्ट्रीय खेल अब तक का सबसे बड़ा राष्ट्रीय खेल होगा. ओलंपिक शैली में आयोजित इस मल्टी स्पोर्ट इवेंट में 28 राज्यों और 8 केंद्रशासित प्रदेशों की भागीदारी होगी.
