प्रधानमंत्री जनता को समर्पित करेंगे देश की पहली रैपिड ट्रेन
20 अक्टूबर को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी देश की पहली रैपिड ट्रेन का उद्घाटन करेंगे, जिसका पहले चरण में 17 km तक परिचालन शुरू होगा जिसे पूरा करने में 12 से 15 मिनट का ही समय लगेगा | ये ट्रेन अभी पांच स्टेशन तक जायेगी जिनमें साहिबाबाद, गाजियाबाद, गुलधर, दुहाई और दुहाई डिपो शामिल है | दूसरे चरण में यह ट्रेन दिल्ली आश्रम से मेरठ (82 k.m.) तक जायेगी, जिसमें कुल 25 स्टेशन होंगे और यह दुरी 50 से 55 मिनट में पूरी होगी |
स्टेशन एवं रैपिडएक्स ट्रेनों में उपलब्ध यात्री सुविधाएँ
- रीजनल रैपिड ट्रांसिट सिस्टम (आरआरटीएस) एक हाई-स्पीड, हाई-फ़्रीक्वेंसी परिवहन प्रणाली है जो 160 किमी प्रति घंटा की रफ़्तार से चलेगी।
- इस कॉरिडोर का साहिबाबाद और दुहाई डिपो के बीच स्थित 17 किमी लंबा खंड, इस खंड में पांच स्टेशन हैं, साहिबाबाद, गाजियाबाद, गुलधर, दुहाई और दुहाई डिपो।
- पूरी तरह से वातानुकूलित रैपिडएक्स ट्रेनों में सुरक्षित और आरामदायक क्षेत्रीय आवागमन के लिए एर्गोनॉमिक रूप से डिज़ाइन की गई 2×2 ट्रांसवर्स सीटिंग, खड़े होकर यात्रा करने के लिए पर्याप्त स्थान, लगेज रैक, सीसीटीवी कैमरे, लैपटॉप / मोबाइल चार्जिंग सुविधा, डायनेमिक रूट मैप, जैसी कई यात्री-केंद्रित विशेषताएं होंगी।
- रैपिडएक्स ट्रेनों का परिचालन सुबह 06:00 बजे से रात 11:00 बजे के बीच होगा। दोनों दिशाओं में पहली ट्रेन द्वारा परिचालन सुबह 06:00 बजे आरंभ होगा और दोनों दिशाओं के स्टेशनों से अंतिम ट्रेन रात 11:00 बजे प्रस्थान करेगी।
- आरंभ में, हर 15 मिनट में एक ट्रेन उपलब्ध होगी, हालांकि सिस्टम आवश्यकता के आधार पर आवृत्ति को और बढ़ाया जा सकता है।
- प्रत्येक रैपिडएक्स ट्रेन में 6 डिब्बे हैं जिनमें लगभग 1700 यात्री एक साथ यात्रा कर सकते हैं। इसमें दोनों, बैठकर एवं खड़े होकर यात्रा करने वाले यात्रियों की संख्या शामिल है। हर स्टैंडर्ड कोच में 72 सीटें और प्रीमियम कोच में 62 सीटें उपलब्ध हैं।
इसमें यात्रियों के लिए टिकटिंग के विभिन्न विकल्प उपलब्ध हैं:
- पेपर क्यूआर कोड-आधारित यात्रा टिकट
- टिकट वेंडिग मशीन
- नेशनल कॉमन मोबिलिटी कार्ड (एनसीएमसी) कार्ड
- एनसीआरटीसी मोबाइल एप्लिकेशन, रैपिडएक्स कनेक्ट के माध्यम से डिजिटल क्यूआर कोड
- टिकट संबंधी किसी भी समस्या के समाधान हेतु यात्री एएफसी गेट के पास स्थापित ग्राहक सेवा केंद्र पर संपर्क कर सकते हैं।
- रैपिडएक्स ट्रेनों में सुगम यात्रा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए, ट्रेन के अंतिम कोच में व्हीलचेयर और स्ट्रेचर के लिए एक निर्दिष्ट स्थान प्रदान किया गया है।
- ट्रेन का इंतजार करते समय यात्रियों को बैठने के लिए प्लेटफार्म लेवल पर सीटों की सुविधा उपलब्ध कराई गई हैं।
