नहीं रहे जीवन को लार्जर देन लाइफ जीने वाले सुब्रत रॉय पर कुछ अनुत्तरतीत सवाल बचे रहे
सहारा इंडिया परिवार का मुख्य संरक्षक और सहाराश्री की नाम से विख्यात सुब्रत रॉय का लंबी बीमारी के बाद मुंबई के एक निजी अस्पताल में निधन 75 वर्ष के उम्र में 14 नवंबर को हो गया, कई बीमारियों से उपजी जटिलताओं के साथ एक लंबी लड़ाई के बाद उनका निधन हुआ , सहारा समूह ने एक बयान जारी कर बताया कि वे हाइपर टेंशन और डायबिटीज़ जैसी बीमारियों से लड़ रहे थे और कार्डियक अरेस्ट के कारण उनका निधन हुआ.
सुब्रत रॉय अपने राजनीतिक संबंधों के साथ कारोबार और फाइनेंस की दुनिया में बहुत बड़ा नाम था , जिनका विवाद से भी गहरा नाता रहा।
सहारा ग्रुप के पास 9 करोड़ निवेशक और ग्राहक हैं, उसकी कुल संपत्ति 2,59,900 करोड़ रुपये है, इसके पास 5,000 प्रतिष्ठान और 30,970 एकड़ भूमि है ।
2011 में सेबी के उनके खिलाफ कदम उठाने के बाद यह साम्राज्य कमजोर होना शुरू हुआ। यह केस तीन करोड़ लोगों से 24,000 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक की वसूली से जुड़ा था। एक समय में रॉय एक एयरलाइन, एक फॉर्मूला वन टीम, एक आईपीएल क्रिकेट टीम, लंदन और न्यूयॉर्क में आलीशान होटल, प्रिंट और इलेक्ट्रॉनिक मीडिया, हॉस्पिटैलिटी और फाइनेंशियल कंपनियों के मालिक थे । रॉय को 10,000 करोड़ रुपये की बकाया राशि न चुकाने पर 4 मार्च 2014 को जेल भेज दिया गया था. अदालत ने कहा था कि जब तक वे 5,000 करोड़ रुपये नकद और 5,000 करोड़ रुपये की बैंक गारंटी नहीं लाते, तब तक उन्हें रिहा नहीं किया जाएगा. 2016 में उनको परोल पर रिहा किया गया।
रॉय ने अपने कार्यक्रमों में फिल्मी सितारों की मेजबानी किया करते थे और लगभग एक दशक तक भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम के स्पांसर रहे. वे सभी राजनीतिक दलों में उनके ‘दोस्त’ हुआ करते थे, लेकिन बाद में मुलायम सिंह यादव, अमर सिंह और समाजवादी पार्टी के साथ अधिक करीब दिखे।
सुब्रत रॉय के निधन के बाद इस बात पर चर्चा छिड़ गई है कि सेबी (SEBI) के पास पड़ी उनकी 25,000 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक की रकम का अब क्या होगा, कौन होगा इस बड़ी रकम का उत्तराधिकारी ?
सहारा इंडिया के निवेशकों के मन में सबसे बड़ा सवाल है कि क्या अब उन्हें उनका पैसा वापस मिल पाएगा? केंद्र सरकार ने कुछ वक्त पहले ही सहारा के निवेशकों को उनका पैसा वापस दिलाने के लिए एक पोर्टल (https://mocrefund.crcs.gov.in/) लॉन्च किया था. जानकारों के मुताबिक इस पोर्टल के जरिये सहारा के इन्वेस्टर्स को उनका पैसा प्रक्रिया के मुताबिक मिलेगा. सुब्रत रॉय (Subrata Roy Sahara) के निधन से इसपर कोई असर नहीं होगा।
