लखनऊ : इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टाउन प्लानर्स इंडिया का आईटीपीआई का ७२वां राष्ट्रीय टाउन एंड कंट्री प्लानर्स सम्मेलन पांच जनवरी से सात जनवरी तक होटल सेंट्रम में आयोजित किया जा रहा है राजधानी में आयोजित प्रेस कांफ्रेंस के दौरान वीपी कुलश्रेष्ठ ने यह जानकारी दी !
उन्होंने बताया कि सम्मेलन का आयोजन प्रदेश के ऐतिहासिक शहर एवं प्रदेश की राजधानी लखनऊ में आयेजित करते हुये अति प्रसन्नता हो रही है। आईटीपीआई द्धारा आयोजित यह वार्षिक कार्यक्रम देश भर में शहरी नियोजकों के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण मंच के रूप में कार्य करता है एवं नगर नियोजकों तथा अन्य सम्बन्धित विषय विशेषज्ञों को नवीनतम नयोजन के आयाम प्रदान करता है। यह सम्मेलन उत्तर प्रदेश के लिए विशेष महत्त्व रखता है क्योंकि यह ४३ वर्षों के बाद उत्तर प्रदेश में आयोजित किया जा रहा है। उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार के आवास और शहरी नियोजन विभाग और आईटीपीआई द्धारा संयुक्त रूप से आयोजित किया जा रहा है।
इस सम्मेलन का उद्देश्य देश भर के प्रतिष्ठित नगर नियोजकों, शहरी विशेषज्ञों, सरकारी अधिकारियों और अन्य हित धारकों को सम्मेलन का मुख्य विश्य जलवायु परिवर्तन एवं भौतिक नियोजन की नवीन अवधारणाओं पर चर्चा हेतु एक मंच पर लाना है। इस वर्ष के सम्मेलन का विषय, जलवायु परिवर्तन और स्थानिक नियोजन दृष्टिकोण है, जिसमें तीन उप-विषय शामिल हैं।सम्मेलन में विभिन्न क्षेत्रों के प्रमुख वक्ता शामिल होंगे, जो शहरी नियोजन, शहरी अर्थशास्त्र, पर्यावरण संबंधी मुद्दों और प्रशासन पर अंतर्दृष्टि और विशेषज्ञता प्रदान करेंगे।
उत्तर प्रदेश ने माननीय मुख्यमंत्री के नेतृत्व में राष्ट्रीय राजमार्गों, हवाई अड्डों और रेल कनेक्टिविटी के साथ प्रदेश में बुनियादी ढांचे के विकास में सराहनीय प्रयास किए गये हैं, जिससे देश की जीडीपी में इसकी भागीदारी आठ प्रतिशत तक पहुंच गया है। प्रगतिशील विकास के लिए राज्य की प्रतिबद्धता एवं माननीय प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के परिवर्तन के दृष्टिकोण के अनुरूप है, जिसका लक्ष्य माध्यमिक और तृतीयक क्षेत्रों पर जोर देकर एक ट्रिलियन डॉलर की अर्थव्यवस्था हासिल करना है।
इसकी समृद्ध सांस्कृतिक विरासत और स्थापत्य चमत्कारों को देखते हुए, सम्मेलन स्थल के रूप में लखनऊ का चयन उपयुक्त है। प्रतिनिधियों को शहर के ऐतिहासिक स्थलों का संरक्षण, शहरी विकास की चुनौतियों, एवं योजनाओं के सफल क्रियान्वयन का प्रत्यक्ष अनुभव करने का अवसर मिलेगा।
आई.टी.पी.आई. की अनूठी पहल में, शिक्षा को बढ़ावा देने के लिए एम. प्लान और बी.प्लान थीसिस के लिए आईटीपीआई द्वारा राष्ट्रीय सर्वश्रेष्ठ थीसिस पुरस्कार दिये जाते हैं जिसमें नियोजन के उत्कृष्ट स्नातक छात्रों को सम्मानित किया जाता है। सम्मेलन के समापन सत्र में ‘आई.टी.पी.आई. नेशनल बेस्ट थीसिस अर्वाड’ के विजेताओं को सर्टिफिकेट ऑफ मेरिट तथा नगद राशि प्रदान की जायेगी।
जी-20 के तहत गठित यूथ-20 के अन्तर्गत आई.टी.पी.आई को नॉलेज पार्टनर नामित किया गया था तथा इस सम्बन्ध में आई.टी.पी.आई. द्वारा देश भर में जलवायु परिवर्तन व आपदा प्रबन्धन विषयों पर संगोष्ठी अयोजित की गई थी। इसी क्रम में इस सम्मेलन का मुख्य विषय निर्धारित किया गया है।
