सन मोबिलिटी ने वीरा वाहन के साथ भारी वाणिज्यिक वाहनों के लिए भारत की पहली मॉड्युलर स्वैपिंग टेक्नोलॉजी पेश की
मुंबई: इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों (ईवी) के लिए एनर्जी इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर और सेवाओं के अग्रणी प्रदाता, सन मोबिलिटी ने आज हैवी इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों (एचईवी) के लिए दुनिया की पहली बैटरी स्वैपिंग टेक्नोलॉजी पेश की। कंपनी ने बैंगलोर स्थित अग्रणी बस निर्माता, वीरा वाहन के साथ साझेदारी में इंटरसिटी और ग्रामीण मार्गों के लिए भारत की पहली 10.5 मीटर बैटरी स्वैपेबल बसें लॉन्च की हैं। यह लॉन्च बस एंड कार ऑपरेटर्स कॉन्फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडिया (बीओसीआई) द्वारा आयोजित अंतर्राष्ट्रीय कॉन्फ्रेंस, प्रवास 4.0 में किया गया। वीरा वाहन के सभी वाहनों में इसी तकनीक का उपयोग होगा।
उत्सर्जन में कमी लाने, हवा की गुणवत्ता सुधारने, और परिवहन सेक्टर की एफिशियंसी बढ़ाने के लिए वाणिज्यिक वाहनों की फ्लीट, खासकर हैवी वाहनों का इलेक्ट्रिफिकेशन किया जाना आवश्यक है। सन मोबिलिटी का प्रमाणित और परखा गया स्मार्ट बैटरी समाधान हल्के, मध्यम और भारी ट्रकों एवं बसों के लिए उपयुक्त है, जिनमें 3 टन से 55 टन तक के सकल वजन वाले वाहन (जीडब्लूवी) आते हैं।
बैटरी स्वैपिंग से बसों की अग्रिम लागत में 40 प्रतिशत की कमी आएगी, जिससे इसकी अग्रिम लागत पारंपरिक डीज़ल से चलने वाली बसों से मेल खाने लगेगी और फाईनेंस की आसान उपलब्धता से फ्लीट मालिकों को इलेक्ट्रिक बसें अपनाना आसान हो जाएगा। साथ ही, इससे फ्लीट मालिकों के लिए संचालन की लागत में 20 प्रतिशत तक की कमी आएगी, साथ ही बैटरी स्वैपिंग की प्रक्रिया केवल 3 मिनट में पूरी हो जाने से बसों का ज्यादा अपटाईम और ज्यादा उपयोग सुनिश्चित हो सकेगा। बैटरी के कॉम्पैक्ट और लाईट फॉर्म फैक्टर द्वारा ज्यादा पेलोड ले जाने की क्षमता प्राप्त होगी।
आज चल रहे वाहनों में लगभग 5 प्रतिशत वाहन बस और ट्रक हैं, लेकिन कार्बन उत्सर्जन के मामले में इनका योगदान 50 प्रतिशत है। वाणिज्यिक वाहन सेगमेंट का 90 प्रतिशत हिस्सा निजी स्वामियों के पास है, जिन्हें सब्सिडी का लाभ नहीं मिलता है। इस सेगमेंट में बैटरी स्वैपिंग की मदद से इलेक्ट्रिक वाहन के अपनाए जाने में 30 प्रतिशत की अतिरिक्त वृद्धि हो सकेगी। इसलिए बैटरी स्वैपिंग भारी वाणिज्यिक वाहनों के क्षेत्र में जीरो कार्बन उत्सर्जन प्राप्त करने का भारत का उद्देश्य पूरा करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा सकती है।
अशोक अग्रवाल, सीईओ-एचईवी, सन मोबिलिटी ने कहा, ‘‘सन मोबिलिटी ने बस ऑपरेटर्स के लिए स्वामित्व की ऊँची लागत, भारी वाणिज्यिक वाहनों की फाईनेंसिंग अपर्याप्त होना, लंबी चार्जिंग अवधि के कारण लंबा डाउनटाईम, और चार्जिंग इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर स्थापित करने के भारी दबाव जैसी मुख्य बाधाओं को दूर करके भारी वाणिज्यिक वाहनों में नई जान फूंक दी है। वीरा वाहन के साथ हमारी साझेदारी एक महत्वपूर्ण पहल है क्योंकि हम भारत की पहली मॉड्युलर स्वैपिंग टेक्नोलॉजी पेश कर रहे हैं, जो ऑपरेटर्स को एक व्यवहारिक और किफायती समाधान प्रदान करेगी, जिससे उनकी एफिशियंसी बढ़ेगी और संचालन की लागत में कमी आएगी।’’
के श्रीनिवास रेड्डी, मैनेजिंग डायरेक्टर, वीरा वाहन ने कहा, ‘‘भारत में सबसे तेजी से विकसित होते हुए बस निर्माताओं में से एक होने के नाते वीरा वाहन परिवहन में गुणवत्ता और इनोवेशन के नए मानक स्थापित कर रहा है। हमें बैटरी स्वैपिंग में विश्व की अग्रणी कंपनी के साथ साझेदारी करने और घरेलू इनोवेशन एवं इंजीनियरिंग क्षमता का उपयोग विश्वस्तरीय इलेक्ट्रिक मोबिलिटी समाधानों के विकास के लिए करने पर गर्व है।’’
सन मोबिलिटी के को-फाउंडर एवं चेयरमैन, चेतन मैनी ने कहा, ‘‘पिछले सात सालों से सन मोबिलिटी इलेक्ट्रिक मोबिलिटी के क्षेत्र में क्रांति ला रहा है। हमारे समाधान मुख्यतः 2वॉट और 3 वॉट सेगमेंट्स में हैं। एचईवी के लिए हमारे नए इनोवेशन से वाणिज्यिक वाहन सेगमेंट के इलेक्ट्रिफिकेशन में तेजी आएगी, जो कार्गो और यात्री परिवहन उद्योग के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है।’’ उन्होंने आगे कहा, ‘‘हम वीरा वाहन के साथ साझेदारी के लिए उत्साहित हैं और हमें विश्वास है कि इस साझेदारी द्वारा ट्रक और बस निर्माताओं, फ्लीट ऑपरेटर्स, और फाईनेंसर्स को मल्टी-बिलियन डॉलर का अवसर मिलेगा। इससे परिवहन इलेक्ट्रिफिकेशन मॉडलों के क्षेत्र में भारत विश्व में अग्रणी स्थिति में पहुँच सकेगा।’’
सन मोबिलिटी की शुरुआत 2017 में हुई थी। यह टूव्हीलर्स, थ्रीव्हीलर्स और छोटे फोर व्हीलर सेगमेंट में 26,000 से ज्यादा वाहनों को अपनी सेवाएं दे रहा है। इसके पास देश में 630 से ज्यादा बैटरी स्वैपिंग स्टेशन हैं, जिनके द्वारा कंपनी हर रोज लगभग 60,000 बैटरी स्वैप्स के साथ 1.6 मिलियन किलोमीटर की यात्रा संभव बनाती है, जो पिछले साल के मुकाबले 84 प्रतिशत ज्यादा है। हाल ही में इंडियन ऑयल के साथ अपने रणनीतिक गठबंधन के साथ सन मोबिलिटी देश में इंडियन ऑयल के 37,000 से ज्यादा फ्यूल स्टेशनों से सन मोबिलिटी की अतुलनीय बैटरी स्वैपिंग सेवाएं प्रदान करेगा, जिससे यह सेवा उतनी ही आसानी से मिलने लगेगी, जितनी आसानी से पारंपरिक ईंधन मिलता है। इससे पूरे देश में बैटरी एज़ ए सर्विस (बीएएएस) के रूप में सेवा मिलना बहुत सुविधाजनक हो जाएगा, और बैटरी की लागत, बैटरी पुरानी होकर खराब हो जाने, इसके रखरखाव, रिप्लेसमेंट और चार्जिंग टाईम की चिंताएं दूर होकर इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों के अनुभव में सुधार आएगा।
