अमेज़न कर्मचारी पर गबन का आरोप
नई दिल्ली: हैदराबाद में इकोनॉमिक ओफ्फेंस विंग पुलिस स्टेशन में भारतीय पेरोल के एक हैदराबाद में रहने वाले अमेज़ॅन कर्मचारी श्री वेंकटेश्वरलु के खिलाफ एक आपराधिक शिकायत दर्ज की गई है। शिकायत में आरोप लगाया गया है कि कर्मचारी ने लगभग INR 3,22,04,456/- (रुपये तीन करोड़ बाईस लाख चार हजार चार सौ छप्पन मात्र) का घोटाला किया है। इस गबन को 50 बैंक खातों में धन ट्रांसफर करके अंजाम दिया गया, जो कि सहयोगियों के थे, जिससे 184 पूर्व-कर्मचारी/निष्क्रिय कर्मचारी अपने उचित बकाया से वंचित हो गये। 03 अप्रैल 2024 को एक एफआईआर जिसका नंबर 04/2024 है दर्ज की गई थी, जिसमें संपत्ति के बेईमानी से दुरुपयोग, आपराधिक विश्वासघात आदि के अपराधों को शामिल किया गया था, जो भारतीय दंड संहिता, 1860 की धारा 403, 408, 420, 467, 468, 471, 477-A, 201, सहपठित 120बी के अंतर्गत आते हैं।
प्रारंभिक जांच के बाद, आर्थिक अपराध शाखा पुलिस स्टेशन ने 20 मई 2024 को हैदराबाद के बाहरी इलाके से आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। इसके बाद, आर्थिक अपराध शाखा पुलिस स्टेशन के एसीपी ने गिरफ्तारी ज्ञापन पर स्वतंत्र गवाह के रूप में हस्ताक्षर करने के लिए अमेज़ॅन के कार्यालय से दो कंपनी के अधिकारियों की उपस्थिति का अनुरोध किया है।
