लखनऊ : आजाद वेलफेयर एण्ड एजुकेशनल सोसाइटी द्वारा आयोजित आजाद थिएटर लखनऊ द्वारा प्रस्तुत उर्दू ड्रामा वाल्मीकि रंगशाला, संगीत नाटक अकादमी गोमती नगर मे हुआ।बीमार नाटक के लेखक सआदत हसन मंटो इनके द्वारा लिखे नाटक समाज को जागरुक करने में अहम भूमिका निभाते हैं। इस नाटक ने भी कुछ ऐसी ही सीख देने का प्रयास किया गया है। इस नाटक में ये दिखाने का प्रयास किया गया है कि जब कोई व्यक्ति बीमार होता है, वो भी जब वो परदेस में हो तो कैसे-कैसे अनुभवों से गुजरता है, और कैसे-कैसे लोग उस बीमार व्यक्ति को परामर्श देते हैं कि बीमार व्यक्ति दुविधा में पड़ कर अपना सही इलाज नहीं करा पाता है। वो इस दुविधा में रहता है कि हम किसके बताये हुए परामर्श पर उपचार करेंए या किसके बताये हुए|
परामर्श पर उपचार ना करें। उस पर कडुवा वह भी नीम चढ़ा उसके यहाँ का नौकर जिसे इलाज के बारे में कुछ भी पता ना हो जिसने जो भी बताया वो लेने दौड़ पड़ा। इस नाटक में शिक्षाप्रद बात यह है कि जब भी कोई बीमारी हो तो किसी अनुभवी डॉक्टर से सलाह लेकर उसका इलाज करायें। और जब भी कोई मुसीबत परेशानी आये तो किसी अनुभवी व्यक्ति से ही सलाह करें, जो उचित हो उसी को माने एवं साथ ही अपनी बुद्धि का इस्तेमाल करें। नाटक में रजत वर्मा, मुकुल कुमार, आशुतोष अवस्थी, मोहम्मद आवेश, अनूप सोनवाल, सक्षम कपूर, डिम्पल सिंह ने अभिनय से दर्शकों का मन मोह लिया। नाटक का निर्देशन मोहम्मद फुजैल ने किया।
