भोपाल: लाईटिंग के क्षेत्र में विश्व की अग्रणी कंपनी, सिग्निफाई ने अरुणाचल प्रदेश के तावंग जिले में 25 गाँवों में एनर्जी-एफिशियंट एलईडी स्ट्रीट लाईट्स लगाई हैं। इन लाईट्स की रोशनी से स्थानीय नागरिकों की सुरक्षा बढ़ेगी। इस प्रोजेक्ट का क्रियान्वयन भारतीय सेला और स्थानीय स्तर पर काम करने वाली एनजीओ, भारतकेयर्स के साथ साझेदारी में कंपनी के ‘हर गाँव रोशन’ सीएसआर प्रोग्राम के अंतर्गत किया गया। यह प्रोग्राम प्रकाश फैलाकर भारत में गाँवों का सस्टेनेबल विकास करने और महिलाओं की सुरक्षा बढ़ाने पर केंद्रित है।
इस प्रोजेक्ट का उद्देश्य इन गाँवों की गलियों और सामुदायिक केंद्रों, जैसे प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य सेवा भवनों, पूजास्थलों, एवं अन्य सार्वजनिक स्थानों पर रोशनी फैलाकर 1500 से ज्यादा परिवारों का जीवन स्तर बढ़ाना है। सीमावर्ती गाँवों में ग्रिड से बिजली उपलब्ध होने के बाद भी स्ट्रीट लाईटिंग की बहुत कम व्यवस्था है। इस प्रोजेक्ट द्वारा हमारा उद्देश्य यहाँ रहने वाले 7500 से ज्यादा स्थानीय नागरिकों की सुरक्षा बढ़ाना और लोगों के बीच सस्टेनेबल लाईटिंग समाधानों के लाभों के बारे में जागरुकता लाना है।
इस सहयोग के बारे में निखिल गुप्ता, हेड ऑफ मार्केटिंग, स्ट्रेट्जी, सरकारी मामले एवं सीएसआर, सिग्निफाई, ग्रेटर इंडिया ने कहा, ‘‘हम भारतीय सीमा पर स्थित गाँवों में स्थायी परिवर्तन लाने के लिए भारतीय सेना के साथ काम करके बहुत उत्साहित हैं। भारतीय सेना नागरिक प्राधिकरणों और इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर का सहयोग करने में बहुत महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाती है और हमारे देश के नागरिकों को एक सुरक्षित व समानतापूर्ण वातावरण प्रदान करती है। हमारे एनजीओ पार्टनर, भारतकेयर्स की सहयोग और इन स्ट्रीट लाईटिंग समाधानों के साथ खासकर रात के समय सुरक्षा बढ़ेगी और अध्ययन के लिए भरपूर प्रकाश वाले स्थानों की सहयोग से शैक्षणिक गतिविधियाँ आगे बढ़ेंगी, और साथ ही ज्यादा लंबे समय तक स्थानीय व्यवसाय चल सकेगा। तावंग के लोगों को भरोसेमंद और सस्टेनेबल लाईटिंग समाधान प्रदान करके, खासकर सीमा पर एलएसी के पास स्थित सबसे अंतिम गाँवों में से एक लंपो में रोशनी की व्यवस्था के साथ हमारा उद्देश्य यहाँ स्थित समुदायों के संपूर्ण विकास और समृद्धि में सहयोग करना है।’’
