फोनपे और पिकमी ने श्रीलंका में कॉन्टैक्टलेस पेमेंट की सुविधा शुरू की
नई दिल्ली: फोनपे और पिकमी ने साथ में साझेदारी का ऐलान किया है, जो श्रीलंका की प्रमुख कैब सेवा है। अब भारतीय यात्री श्रीलंका में UPI-आधारित QR कोड से भुगतान कर सकेंगे। इस साझेदारी से यात्रियों को कैश की जरूरत नहीं होगी और वे आसानी से कैशलेस यात्रा कर पाएंगे। भारतीय यात्री अब भंडारनायके इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट से बाहर निकलते ही पिकमी के साथ कैशलेस ड्राइव का मजा ले सकते हैं।
विदेश में यात्रा के दौरान उस देश की करेंसी की व्यवस्था करना और खर्च के लिए कैश रखना मुश्किल हो सकता है। पिकमी अपने प्लेटफॉर्म पर फोनपे के UPI-आधारित QR कोड पेमेंट की सुविधा दे रहा है, जिससे भारतीय यात्रियों की समस्याएं कम होंगी। फोनपे यूज़र्स अब अपनी राइड के लिए जल्दी और सुरक्षित तरीके से भुगतान कर सकते हैं।
फोनपे के अंतर्राष्ट्रीय पेमेंट के CEO, रितेश पई ने कहा, “पिकमी के साथ हमारी साझेदारी भारतीय यात्रियों को सुविधाजनक और सुरक्षित पेमेंट विकल्प देती है। अब भारतीय पर्यटक श्रीलंका में कैब या सवारी के लिए आसानी से UPI पेमेंट कर सकते हैं।”
पिकमी के CEO, जिफरी जुल्फर ने कहा, “हम श्रीलंका में भारतीय यात्रियों को यह सुविधा देने वाले पहले कैब सेवा प्लेटफॉर्म हैं। इस सहयोग से हम श्रीलंका के परिवहन क्षेत्र में डिजिटल बदलाव लाने और ड्राइवरों के लिए आय के नए स्रोत प्रदान करने में मदद कर रहे हैं।”
यह साझेदारी फोनपे के श्रीलंका में लॉन्च होने के एक महीने बाद हुई है। भारतीय उच्चायुक्त श्री संतोष झा ने श्रीलंका की कंपनियों से UPI की सुविधा शुरू करने का सुझाव दिया था। उन्होंने कहा कि इस तरह के सहयोग से दोनों देशों के बीच फिनटेक क्षेत्र में अधिक सहयोग होगा।
श्रीलंका भारतीय यात्रियों के बीच एक लोकप्रिय पर्यटन स्थल है। इस साझेदारी से भारतीय यात्री अपनी यात्रा के दौरान UPI जैसी सुविधाओं का लाभ उठा सकेंगे और बेहतर अनुभव प्राप्त करेंगे।
