रेल मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने एकीकृत ट्रेन परिचालन सुरक्षा मानक की घोषणा की
नई दिल्ली: बुधवार को रेल मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने घोषणा की कि विशेष रूप से सिग्नल विफलता को संबोधित करने के लिए एक एकीकृत ट्रेन संचालन सुरक्षा मानदंड अगले 10 दिनों के भीतर जारी किया जाएगा। यह नया मानक देशभर के सभी रेलवे जोन पर लागू होगा।
मीडिया कर्मियों से बातचीत में मंत्री वैष्णव ने बताया कि रेल मंत्रालय ने सभी 17 रेलवे जोन के सहायक नियमों (एसआर) में एकरूपता लाने की प्रक्रिया शुरू की है. यह निर्णय रेलवे सुरक्षा आयुक्त (सीआरएस) की एक महत्वपूर्ण जांच रिपोर्ट के बाद आया है, जिसमें इन मानदंडों में विरोधाभासों को उजागर किया गया था। यह रिपोर्ट 17 जून को हुई कंचनजंगा ट्रेन दुर्घटना की जांच का हिस्सा थी।इस दुखद दुर्घटना में एक मालगाड़ी खड़ी सियालदह जाने वाली कंचनजंगा एक्सप्रेस से टकरा गई, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप मालगाड़ी के लोको पायलट सहित 10 लोगों की जान चली गई। यह घटना पश्चिम बंगाल में हुई और सभी रेलवे जोनों में लगातार सुरक्षा प्रोटोकॉल की तत्काल आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया गया।
मंत्री वैष्णव ने भविष्य में ऐसी दुर्घटनाओं को रोकने के लिए नए एकीकृत सुरक्षा मानदंडों के महत्व पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने कहा, “सीआरएस रिपोर्ट ने विभिन्न रेलवे जोनों में मौजूदा मानदंडों में महत्वपूर्ण विरोधाभासों को उजागर किया है। यात्रियों और रेलवे कर्मचारियों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए, नियमों का एक मानकीकृत सेट होना महत्वपूर्ण है जिसका सभी जोनों को पालन करना होगा।”आगामी सुरक्षा मानदंड का लक्ष्य विसंगतियों को दूर करना और ट्रेन संचालन की समग्र सुरक्षा को बढ़ाना होगा, खासकर सिग्नल विफलताओं वाली स्थितियों में। सीआरएस की सिफारिशों को संबोधित करने में मंत्रालय की त्वरित कार्रवाई रेलवे सुरक्षा मानकों में सुधार और भविष्य की त्रासदियों को रोकने के प्रति उसकी प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाती है।
इन एकीकृत मानदंडों को जारी करना भारत में एक सुरक्षित और अधिक विश्वसनीय रेलवे नेटवर्क की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है। रेलवे अधिकारियों को उम्मीद है कि इस पहल से ट्रेन यात्रा की सुरक्षा में जनता का विश्वास बहाल होगा और यात्रियों और कर्मचारियों की भलाई सुनिश्चित होगी।
