काठमांडू में सौर्या एयरलाइंस के विमान की दुर्घटना
नई दिल्ली: 24 जुलाई, बुधवार को काठमांडू के त्रिभुवन अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे पर एक भीषण विमान दुर्घटना हुई, जिसमें 18 लोगों की मृत्यु हो गई। सौर्या एयरलाइंस का विमान, जो पोखरा के लिए रवाना हो रहा था, टेक-ऑफ के दौरान दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हो गया और केवल एक पायलट ही जीवित बच पाया।
दुर्घटना उस समय हुई जब विमान हवाई अड्डे से उड़ान भरने की कोशिश कर रहा था। प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार, विमान रनवे से फिसल गया और जमीन पर दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हो गया। बचाव दल और अग्निशामक तुरंत मौके पर पहुंचे, जहां से काले धुएं का गुबार आसमान में फैल गया। आपातकालीन दल ने आग बुझाने और विमान के जले हुए अवशेषों को निकालने के लिए तेजी से काम किया। इस त्रासदी के कारण हवाई अड्डा अस्थायी रूप से बंद हो गया है, जिससे घरेलू और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय उड़ानों में भारी विघ्न उत्पन्न हुआ है।
इकलौते जीवित बचे व्यक्ति, पायलट को काठमांडू मेडिकल कॉलेज अस्पताल में उपचार के लिए भेजा गया। अस्पताल के चिकित्सकों के अनुसार, पायलट की हालत स्थिर है। विमान में 19 लोग सवार थे, जिनमें दो पायलट और 17 यात्री शामिल थे। यात्रियों की सूची में एक विदेशी नागरिक भी शामिल था, हालांकि उनकी पहचान और राष्ट्रीयता की जानकारी अभी तक सामने नहीं आई है। शेष यात्री सभी नेपाली नागरिक थे।
दुर्घटना के समय काठमांडू में खराब दृश्यता की स्थिति थी, हालांकि बारिश नहीं हो रही थी। हवाई अड्डा, जो पहाड़ी इलाके से घिरा हुआ है, के कठिन दृष्टिकोण और प्रस्थान प्रक्रियाओं के कारण पायलटों को अतिरिक्त चुनौतियों का सामना करना पड़ता है।
