नई दिल्ली: संघ लोक सेवा आयोग (UPSC) ने पूजा खेड़कर का IAS चयन रद्द कर दिया है और उन्हें भविष्य की सभी UPSC परीक्षाओं से स्थायी रूप से प्रतिबंधित कर दिया है। खेड़कर को पहचान धोखाधड़ी और कोटा का दुरुपयोग करके सिविल सर्विसेज परीक्षा (CSE) में अनुमत प्रयासों की संख्या को पार करने का दोषी पाया गया।
UPSC ने 18 जुलाई 2024 को खेड़कर को एक शो कॉज़ नोटिस जारी किया, जब उनकी आवेदन में अनियमितताएँ पाई गईं। उन्हें 30 जुलाई तक प्रतिक्रिया देने के लिए विस्तार दिया गया था, लेकिन उन्होंने कोई स्पष्टीकरण नहीं दिया। जांच में पता चला कि खेड़कर ने परीक्षा नियमों को दरकिनार करने के लिए अपने नाम, माता-पिता के नाम और अन्य व्यक्तिगत विवरणों में बदलाव किया था। इसके अतिरिक्त, उन्हें पुणे के अस्पताल से एक फर्जी विकलांगता प्रमाण पत्र प्राप्त करने के लिए भी पाया गया, जबकि रिपोर्टों में कोई वास्तविक विकलांगता नहीं दिखी।
