90 फुट की हनुमान मूर्ति टेक्सास में एक सांस्कृतिक स्थल बन गई
नई दिल्ली: टेक्सास के शुगर लैंड में भगवान हनुमान की 90 फुट ऊंची कांस्य मूर्ति का अनावरण किया गया है, जो संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका के सांस्कृतिक और आध्यात्मिक परिदृश्य में एक महत्वपूर्ण मील का पत्थर है। “स्टैच्यू ऑफ यूनियन” नाम की यह शानदार मूर्ति अमेरिका में तीसरी सबसे ऊंची मूर्ति है, जो न्यूयॉर्क में स्टैच्यू ऑफ लिबर्टी (151 फीट) और हॉलैंडेल बीच, फ्लोरिडा में पेगासस और ड्रैगन (110 फीट) से आगे है।
स्टैच्यू ऑफ यूनियन न केवल मीलों दूर से दिखाई देने वाला एक आकर्षक मील का पत्थर है, बल्कि इसे भारत के बाहर सबसे ऊंची हनुमान मूर्ति और टेक्सास में सबसे ऊंची मूर्ति होने का गौरव भी प्राप्त है। ह्यूस्टन से लगभग 35 किलोमीटर दूर स्थित शुगर लैंड में श्री अष्टलक्ष्मी मंदिर में स्थापित इस प्रतिमा का अनावरण 15 से 18 अगस्त तक आयोजित एक भव्य प्राण प्रतिष्ठा महोत्सव समारोह के दौरान किया गया था।
कार्यक्रम के आयोजकों ने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि स्टैच्यू ऑफ यूनियन “निःस्वार्थता, भक्ति और एकता” का प्रतीक है, जो भगवान हनुमान से जुड़े प्रमुख गुण हैं। मूर्ति के गहरे आध्यात्मिक महत्व को रेखांकित करते हुए, भगवान राम और सीता को फिर से मिलाने में हनुमान की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका का सम्मान करने के लिए “स्टैच्यू ऑफ यूनियन” नाम चुना गया था।
