पितृपक्ष : अमावस्या पर तर्पण के साथ पितर विदा
लखनऊ : सुबह से ही घरों और घाटों पर तर्पण-विसर्जन के साथ ही शनिवार को पितर विदा हुए। घरों में जजमानों ने पितरों का श्राद्ध किया और नदियों के किनारे पितरों का विसर्जन किया। सुबह से दोपहर तक शनि मंदिर घाट, झूलेलाल घाट, कुड़ियाघाट, महाराज अग्रसेन घाट समेत डालीगंज में नदियों के किनारे लोगों ने पितरों का विसर्जन किया। इसी के साथ पिछले 15 दिनों से चल रहा पितृपक्ष समाप्त हुआ। पितरों के विदा होते ही शाम से शारदीय नवरात्र की तैयारियां शुरू की। सुबह घरों में लोगों ने तर्पण और विसर्जन के बाद पितरों को पिंड दान-पूजन कर उनसे क्षमा याचना की।
बड़ी संख्या में जिनके परिवार से खानदान में उनका पिंडदान-तर्पण करने वाला कोई नहीं बचा अपने जाने-अनजाने पूर्वजों, बुजुर्गो की आत्मशांति व उनका आशीर्वाद प्राप्ति के लिए पितृ तर्पण का सनातन परंपरा अनुसार, राजधानी लखनऊ के गोमती तट पर एक बड़ा आयोजन जिसमें हजारों लोगों ने पितृपक्ष अमावस्या के दिन उपासना की |
