रियासी आतंकी हमले के सिलसिले में 50 संदिग्धों को हिरासत में लिया गया है।
नई दिल्ली: जम्मू-कश्मीर पुलिस ने हाल ही में रियासी में तीर्थयात्रियों से भरी बस पर हुए आतंकी हमले के सिलसिले में 50 संदिग्धों की गिरफ्तारी की घोषणा की। रविवार को कांडा इलाके में हुए इस हमले में एक नाबालिग समेत नौ लोगों की मौत हो गई और 41 अन्य घायल हो गए।
गिरफ्तारियां जांच में एक महत्वपूर्ण सफलता का प्रतीक हैं। कांडा क्षेत्र पुलिस स्टेशन द्वारा गहन जांच के बाद गिरफ्तारियां की गईं। पुलिस ने 90 के दशक के मध्य में आतंकवादी गतिविधियों के लिए जाने जाने वाले अरनास और माहोर के दूरदराज के क्षेत्रों में खोज अभियान का विस्तार किया है। इन प्रयासों का उद्देश्य आगे सबूत इकट्ठा करना और इन क्षेत्रों में छिपे किसी भी आतंकवादी को पकड़ना है।
एक वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधिकारी ने उल्लेख किया कि महत्वपूर्ण सुरागों का खुलासा किया गया है, जिससे हमले को अंजाम देने में संभावित रूप से शामिल लोगों की पहचान करने और उन्हें पकड़ने में मदद मिलेगी। पुलिस अपराधियों को न्याय के कटघरे में लाने और सभी निवासियों और आगंतुकों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है।
रविवार को आतंकवादियों ने कटरा के शिव खोरी मंदिर से माता वैष्णो देवी मंदिर जा रहे 53 तीर्थयात्रियों की बस पर हमला कर दिया। यह हमला रियासी जिले के पोनी इलाके में टेरयाथ गांव के पास हुआ, जिससे बस गहरी खाई में गिर गई। पुलिस का मानना है कि एक स्थानीय मददगार सहित 2-3 आतंकवादी शामिल थे।
एसएसपी रियासी मोहिता शर्मा ने घटना के बाद समुदाय के सदमे और दुख पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने जनता से सतर्क रहने और किसी भी संदिग्ध गतिविधि की सूचना देने का आग्रह किया। राष्ट्रीय जांच एजेंसी (एनआईए), राज्य जांच एजेंसी (एसआईए) और फोरेंसिक विशेषज्ञों की जांच जारी है। अधिकारी आतंकवादियों द्वारा इस्तेमाल किए जाने वाले संभावित मार्गों पर भी नज़र रख रहे हैं और उन लोगों की पहचान कर रहे हैं जिन्होंने उन्हें आवास उपलब्ध कराया था।
