असम में बाढ़: मुख्यमंत्री हिमंत बिस्वा सर्मा ने स्थिति की समीक्षा की जब हालत बिगड़ी
नई दिल्ली: असम में बाढ़ की स्थिति गंभीर हो गई है, जहां ब्रह्मपुत्र, डिगरू और कोलोंग नदियां खतरे के स्तर से ऊपर बह रही हैं, और 29 जिलों में लगभग 16.50 लाख लोग प्रभावित हैं। मुख्यमंत्री हिमंत बिस्वा सर्मा ने इस पर शीघ्र अमल किया है, उन्होंने गुवाहाटी मेट्रोपोलिटन क्षेत्र के सबसे प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में यात्रा की है और बाढ़ प्रभावित लोगों की मदद के लिए राहत कार्यों की गति बढ़ाने का निर्देश दिया। उन्होंने रात में जिला आयुक्तों के साथ हुई बैठक में राहत वितरण में व्यापकता बढ़ाने की बात की, और उन्होंने अगस्त 15 से पहले पुनर्वास दावों की प्रक्रिया को तेज करने के निर्देश दिए। बाढ़ ने अब तक 56 लोगों की जान ली है, और तीन और लापता हैं।
मंत्रिमंडल के सदस्य अगले तीन दिनों तक बाढ़ प्रभावित जिलों में कैंपिंग करेंगे, और असम राज्य आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण (ASDMA) ने राहत ऑपरेशन को संयुक्त रूप से समन्वित किया है। जनता से अपील की गई है कि वे सरकारी अधिकारियों के साथ सहयोग करें और सुरक्षा की देखरेख करें।
