इंडोनेशिया पर्यटन मंत्री ने भारतीयों के लिए वीजा-मुक्त प्रवेश की घोषणा की
नई दिल्ली: इंडोनेशिया पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने और अर्थव्यवस्था को प्रोत्साहित करने के प्रयास में, इंडोनेशिया 20 देशों के यात्रियों को मुफ्त प्रवेश वीजा प्रदान करने की योजना बना रहा है, जिसमें भारत भी शामिल है। यह रणनीतिक कदम, जो पर्यटन क्षेत्र को महत्वपूर्ण रूप से बढ़ाने की उम्मीद है, पिछले सप्ताह इंडोनेशिया के पर्यटन मंत्री संदीगा उनो द्वारा घोषित किया गया था। उनो ने बताया कि वीजा छूट नीति का विस्तार करने की परियोजना सुचारू रूप से प्रगति कर रही है और इसे “अक्टूबर 2024 में सरकार के परिवर्तन से पहले” लागू किया जाएगा।
भारत के अलावा, वीजा छूट से ऑस्ट्रेलिया, चीन, जापान, अमेरिका, दक्षिण कोरिया, फ्रांस, जर्मनी, कतर, ब्रिटेन और अरब सहित कई अन्य प्रमुख देशों के पर्यटकों को लाभ होगा। इन देशों का चयन इंडोनेशिया के उच्च यात्रा क्षमता और महत्वपूर्ण खर्च करने की शक्ति वाले बाजारों पर ध्यान केंद्रित करने को दर्शाता है, जो पर्यटन उद्योग की वसूली और विकास के लिए महत्वपूर्ण हैं। वीजा-मुक्त प्रवेश की शुरुआत से यात्रा प्रक्रियाओं को सरल बनाने की उम्मीद है, जिससे अधिक पर्यटक इंडोनेशिया को अपने अवकाश गंतव्य के रूप में चुनेंगे। इस आगमन से आवास, भोजन और आकर्षण पर बढ़ते खर्च के माध्यम से स्थानीय अर्थव्यवस्था में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान होने की उम्मीद है, जिससे रोजगार सृजन और आर्थिक विकास को समर्थन मिलेगा।
