ज़िंदगी की वापसी: नागालैंड के 57 वर्षीय मरीज की अमृता अस्पताल फरीदाबाद में उच्च जोखिम वाली हृदय सर्जरी के बाद सफल रिकवरी
एक प्रेरणादायक कहानी में नागालैंड के 57 वर्षीय श्री अकुमिनबा ने अमृता अस्पताल, फरीदाबाद में जटिल ओपन-हार्ट सर्जरी और उन्नत पोस्ट-ऑपरेटिव केयर के बाद नया जीवन पाया।
श्री अकुमिनबा टाइप-2 डायबिटीज़, पुरानी हाई ब्लड प्रेशर और डायलिसिस की आवश्यकता वाली गंभीर किडनी की समस्या से जूझ रहे थे। उन्हें पहले एक्यूट पल्मोनरी एडीमा (फेफड़ों में तरल भराव) हुआ था और एक्यूट कोरोनरी सिंड्रोम (ACS) की पुष्टि हो चुकी थी, जिसके लिए दूसरी जगह एंजियोप्लास्टी की कोशिश असफल रही थी। उनकी हालत लगातार बिगड़ती जा रही थी और हृदय की कार्यक्षमता भी गंभीर रूप से प्रभावित थी। ऐसे में उन्हें गंभीर स्थिति में अमृता अस्पताल में रेफर किया गया।
डॉ. उर्मिला आनंद, प्रमुख नेफ्रोलॉजी विभाग, ने मरीज की विस्तृत जांच के बाद उन्हें कोरोनरी आर्टरी बायपास सर्जरी के लिए रेफर किया। तत्काल डायलिसिस शुरू किया गया और एक हफ्ते के डायलिसिस के बाद मरीज को डॉ. समीर भाटे (सीनियर कंसल्टेंट एवं प्रमुख, कार्डियोथोरेसिक एंड वैस्कुलर सर्जरी) के पास भेजा गया।
मरीज को मल्टी-वेसल कोरोनरी आर्टरी डिज़ीज थी और हार्ट की कार्यक्षमता (LVEF) केवल 30–35% थी, जो एडवांस हार्ट फेलियर को दर्शाता है। लंबे समय से डायबिटीज़ के कारण उनकी एक आंख की रोशनी भी चली गई थी।
डॉ. समीर भाटे ने बताया, “यह हमारे सामने आए हाल के सबसे जटिल और उच्च जोखिम वाले मामलों में से एक था। श्री अकुमिनबा न केवल हृदय विफलता से जूझ रहे थे, बल्कि उनकी किडनी भी गंभीर रूप से प्रभावित थी और डायबिटीज़ वर्षों से बनी हुई थी। हमने तीन बायपास ग्राफ्ट के साथ सफल CABG सर्जरी की और मल्टीस्पेशियलिटी टीम की मदद से उन्हें लगातार मॉनिटर किया। यह रिकवरी क्लिनिकल प्रिसीजन और मरीज की इच्छाशक्ति दोनों का परिणाम है।”
इस सर्जरी में कार्डिएक एनेस्थीसिया टीम में डॉ. धीरेज अरोड़ा, डॉ. इश्रत रावत, डॉ. श्वेता पानसे और डॉ. प्रभात चौधरी शामिल थे। परफ्यूजनिस्ट रवि देशपांडे और कार्डिएक ICU नर्सों की सतर्क देखभाल ने पोस्ट-ऑप केयर को संभाला।
आज श्री अकुमिनबा स्थिर हैं, चल-फिर सकते हैं और नागालैंड लौटने की तैयारी में हैं।
श्री अकुमिनबा ने कहा:
“मैं डर और मायूसी में यहां आया था, लेकिन अमृता अस्पताल के डॉक्टरों ने मुझे दूसरी ज़िंदगी दी। ICU से लेकर रिहैब टीम तक, हर किसी ने मुझे लड़ने की ताकत दी। मैं शब्दों से परे आभारी हूं।”
हालांकि अब भी उन्हें डायलिसिस की जरूरत है और दीर्घकालिक समस्याएं बनी हुई हैं, फिर भी यह मामला दिखाता है कि समन्वित, मल्टी-डिसिप्लिनरी टीम कैसे अत्यंत जटिल मामलों में भी जीवन बचा सकती है।
डॉ. उर्मिला और डॉ. हर्षा अब उन्हें किडनी ट्रांसप्लांट की सलाह दे रहे हैं, जिससे उनकी जीवन की गुणवत्ता और बेहतर हो सकती है, क्योंकि अब उनका दिल इस प्रक्रिया को झेलने में सक्षम है।
