अकाल तख्त ने कथित सिख मानहानि पर ‘इमरजेंसी’ फिल्म पर तत्काल प्रतिबंध लगाने की मांग की
नई दिल्ली: शिरोमणि गुरुद्वारा प्रबंधक समिति (एसजीपीसी) के साथ सिखों की सर्वोच्च लौकिक संस्था अकाल तख्त ने कंगना रनौत द्वारा निर्देशित और अभिनीत आगामी फिल्म ‘इमरजेंसी’ पर तत्काल प्रतिबंध लगाने का आह्वान किया है। सिख संगठनों ने गंभीर चिंता जताई है और आरोप लगाया है कि फिल्म सिख समुदाय के “चरित्र हनन” का प्रयास करती है।
एक संवाददाता सम्मेलन के दौरान, एसजीपीसी प्रमुख हरजिंदर सिंह धामी ने फिल्म पर समिति की कड़ी आपत्ति जताई और इस पर तत्काल प्रतिबंध लगाने का आग्रह किया। उन्होंने फिल्म की लेखिका, निर्देशक, निर्माता और मुख्य अभिनेत्री कंगना रनौत के खिलाफ प्रथम सूचना रिपोर्ट (एफआईआर) दर्ज करने का भी आह्वान किया। धामी ने कहा कि फिल्म में सिखों का चित्रण बेहद आपत्तिजनक है और उनके समुदाय का गलत चित्रण करता है।
‘इमरजेंसी‘, जो 1975-1977 के दौरान तत्कालीन प्रधान मंत्री इंदिरा गांधी द्वारा लगाए गए आपातकाल के दौरान भारत के इतिहास के अशांत काल का वर्णन करती है, अगले महीने रिलीज होने वाली है। फिल्म पहले ही विवादों में घिर चुकी है, सिख नेताओं का दावा है कि यह ऐतिहासिक तथ्यों को विकृत करती है और सिखों को नकारात्मक रूप से चित्रित करती है।
