अपोलोमेडिक्स के डॉक्टरों ने बच्चे को दिया नया जीवन
लखनऊ: अपोलोमेडिक्स हॉस्पिटल लखनऊ के पीडियाट्रिक सर्जरी डिपार्टमेंट के डॉक्टरों ने एक बेहद चुनौतीपूर्ण और जटिल सर्जरी को अंजाम देते हुए 8 महीने के एक बच्चे की पूरी भोजन नली का निर्माण किया है। बच्चा नेपाल का रहने वाला है और जन्म से ही उसके शरीर में भोजन नली का निर्माण नहीं हुआ था।
लगभग छह घंटे लंबे चले ऑपरेशन में, डॉक्टरों ने भोजन नली का निर्माण करने के लिए उसके पेट का उपयोग किया। यह भोजन नली बच्चे के उम्र के साथ बढ़ती जाएगी। लड़का नेपाल का मूल निवासी है और जन्म के तुरंत बाद उसे अपोलोमेडिक्स लखनऊ के डॉक्टरों के पास भेजा गया था।
डॉक्टरों ने बताया कि बच्चे को सांस लेने में दिक्कत हो रही थी और उसका रंग नीला पड़ गया था। बच्चे की मां ने उसे जो भी दूध पिलाया वह भोजन नली के अभाव में मुंह और नाक से बाहर आ गया था। चिकित्सीय भाषा में, इस स्थिति को “प्योर एसोफेजियल एट्रेसिया” कहा जाता है।
पीडियाट्रिक सर्जरी डिपार्टमेंट के सीनियर कंसल्टेंट डॉ. दीपक कांडपाल के नेतृत्व में विशेषज्ञों की एक टीम ने चरणबद्ध सर्जरी की। पहले चरण में, बच्चे को दूध पिलाने के लिए सीधे पेट में एक ट्यूब लगाई गई और लार निकालने के लिए गर्दन में एक छेद बनाया गया।
बच्चे का दूसरा ऑपरेशन किया गया, जिसे गैस्ट्रिक ट्रांसपोज़िशन कहा जाता है। बच्चे की उम्र जब आठ महीने की हो गई और उसका वजन जब बढ़ गया तो इस ऑपरेशन को हाल ही में अस्पताल में किया गया था।
पीडियाट्रिक सर्जरी डिपार्टमेंट, अपोलोमेडिक्स अस्पताल लखनऊ के सीनियर कंसल्टेंट डॉ. दीपक कांडपाल ने बताया,“इस ऑपरेशन में हमारी टीम ने भोजन नली का निर्माण किया। अब बच्चा मुंह से दूध पी सकता है। बच्चे को अस्पताल से छुट्टी दे दी गई है। मरीज सर्जरी के बाद बारह दिनों तक अस्पताल में भर्ती रहा। इस दौरान उसे डॉक्टरों की निगरानी में आईसीयू में वेंटिलेटर पर भी रखा गया था। आठवें दिन, भोजन नली में किसी संभावित रिसाव का पता लगाने के लिए उसे रंगीन दवा भी दी गई। इसके बाद नौवें दिन, उसे पहली बार मुंह के माध्यम से खाना खिलाया गया।”
अपोलोमेडिक्स लखनऊ के सीईओ और एमडी डॉ. मयंक सोमानी ने कहा, “यह एक साल से भी कम समय में अपोलोमेडिक्स लखनऊ के डॉक्टरों द्वारा सफलतापूर्वक किया गया, दूसरा ऐसा गंभीर मामला है। इससे पहले, डॉक्टरों ने प्रयागराज के एक मरीज की भी भोजन नली का निर्माण सर्जरी द्वारा किया था।”
