कैनन इंडिया ने स्किल इंडिया के तहत स्किल डेवलपमेंट सेंटर लॉन्च किए

समुदायों को सशक्त बनाने की अपनी सीएसआर प्रतिबद्धता के साथ कैनन इंडिया ने आज कापसहेड़ा, दिल्ली और अंधेरी ईस्ट, मुंबई में दो नए स्किल सेंटर खोलने की घोषणा की। स्किल इंडिया मिशन के अनुरूप इस प्रोजेक्ट से स्किल डेवलपमेंट द्वारा प्रभाव उत्पन्न कर समाज को अपना योगदान देने की कैनन इंडिया की प्रतिबद्धता प्रदर्शित होती है। स्किल डेवलपमेंट एंड लिवलिहुड प्रोग्राम का उद्देश्य शहरी झुग्गियों में रह रहे 18 से 25 साल के युवाओं को जीवन के लिए आवश्यक और रोजगारयोग्य कौशल प्रदान करके उनके जीवन स्तर में सुधार लाना और उन्हें ग्राहक-केंद्रित, ग्रे-कॉलर नौकरियों में प्लेसमेंट दिलाना है, ताकि उन्हें स्थिर रोजगार मिल सके।
पाँच सालों में 2500 युवाओं को प्रशिक्षित करने के लक्ष्य के साथ यह प्रोग्राम गरीबी रेखा से नीचे (बीपीएल) युवाओं पर केंद्रित है, जो वर्तमान में शिक्षा, रोजगार, या प्रशिक्षण (एनईईटी) से जुड़े हुए नहीं हैं। इस प्रोग्राम द्वारा इन अभ्यर्थियों को अत्यधिक मांग वाले सेक्टर्स जैसे बीएफएसआई, रिटेल, आईटी/आईटीईएस, ई-कॉमर्स, और क्विक सर्विस रेस्टोरैंट्स के लिए आवश्यक कौशल मिल सकेगा, और कम से कम 12,500 रुपये के औसत न्यूनतम वेतन के साथ वो रोजगार के बेहतर अवसर प्राप्त कर सकेंगे।
इस घोषणा के बारे में श्री तोशियाकी नोमुरा, प्रेसिडेंट एवं सीईओ, कैनन इंडिया ने कहा, ‘‘भारत की युवा आबादी राष्ट्रनिर्माण में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दे सकती है। कैनन में हम इन लोगों को आवश्यक सहयोग व संसाधन प्रदान करके उनकी क्षमता का विकास करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध हैं। ‘सशक्तिकरण’ हमारी सीएसआर की नीति में एक महत्वपूर्ण स्तंभ है, जिसके द्वारा हम अपने अपनाए गए गाँवों में हजारों लोगों के जीवन में परिवर्तन ला चुके हैं। इस नए स्किल सेंटर की स्थापना बाजार के लिए उपयोगी कौशल एवं अवसर प्रदान करने की ओर एक पहल है, जिससे युवाओं को एक सफल करियर बनाने एवं देश की अर्थव्यवस्था में अपना योगदान देने में मदद मिलेगी। यह अभियान केवल प्रशिक्षण ही नहीं देता है, बल्कि आशा, आत्मविश्वास, और बड़े सपने देखने की क्षमता का विकास करता है। यह प्रोग्राम सस्टेनेबल विकास लाने और लोगों को अपनी पूरी क्षमता का विकास करने में समर्थ बनाने के कैनन इंडिया के मिशन का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है।’’
2.5 माह के इस विस्तृत प्रशिक्षण में प्रतिभागियों को सामूहिक और व्यक्तिगत गतिविधियों में हिस्सा लेने का मौका मिलेगा। वो इंग्लिश भाषा का ज्ञान, आईटी का ज्ञान, और आवश्यक जीवन-कौशल प्राप्त कर सकेंगे। यह ट्रेनिंग मॉडल पीयर-टू-पीयर लर्निंग को बढ़ावा देगा, जिससे सहयोग, संचार, एवं आत्मविश्वास बढ़ेगा, और प्रतिभागी नौकरी के इंटरव्यू निकालने और आसानी से नौकरी के लिए तैयार हो सकेंगे।
इस नए अभियान के बारे में श्री सी सुकुमारन, सीनियर डायरेक्टर, प्रोडक्ट एवं कम्युनिकेशन, कैनन इंडिया ने कहा, ‘‘कैनन इंडिया में हम समुदाय के समग्र और सस्टेनेबल विकास के लिए प्रतिबद्ध हैं। शिक्षा, सशक्तिकरण, पर्यावरण एवं आई केयर में प्रभावशाली अभियानों के साथ हमें अपने स्किल सेंटर्स द्वारा अपने सीएसआर के सफर में एक नया अध्याय शुरू करने पर गर्व है। ये स्किल सेंटर भारत के युवाओं को सशक्त बनाएंगे। स्किल डेवलपमेंट एंड लिवलिहुड प्रोग्राम द्वारा हमारा उद्देश्य न केवल लोगों को आज के नौकरी बाजार के लिए उपयोगी कौशल सिखाना है, बल्कि उन्हें रोजगार, वित्तीय आत्मनिर्भरता, और उच्च पारिवारिक आय प्राप्त करने में मदद करना भी है। कैनन इंडिया का उद्देश्य प्रशिक्षण के बाद 70 प्रतिशत प्रशिक्षित लोगों को नौकरी के प्लेसमेंट दिलाना और विभिन्न सेक्टर्स के लिए उनकी रोजगार की योग्यता बढ़ाना है।’’
इस अभियान का उद्देश्य न केवल पारिवारिक आय को स्थिर रूप से बढ़ाते हुए दोगुना करना है, बल्कि आजीविका के स्थायी अवसरों का निर्माण कर समुदायों में वास्तविक परिवर्तन लाना भी है। साथ ही, ये युवा परिवर्तन के दूत बन सकेंगे और अपने समुदाय के अन्य लोगों को प्रेरणा दे सकेंगे।
