पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री अखिलेश यादव ने वरिष्ठ समाजवादी नेता एवं पूर्व मंत्री मोहन सिंह की 10वीं पुण्यतिथि पर माल्यार्पण कर श्रद्धासुमन भेंट किए
समाजवादी पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष एवं पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री श्री अखिलेश यादव ने आज पार्टी मुख्यालय, लखनऊ में वरिष्ठ समाजवादी नेता एवं पूर्व मंत्री श्री मोहन सिंह की 10वीं पुण्यतिथि पर उनके चित्र पर माल्यार्पण कर श्रद्धासुमन भेंट किए।
श्री मोहन सिंह तीन बार लोकसभा में सांसद निर्वाचित हुए थे और उन्हें सर्वश्रेष्ठ सांसद का सम्मान भी मिला था। वे उत्तर प्रदेश विधानसभा के भी सदस्य रहे तथा राज्यमंत्रिमण्डल में राज्यमंत्री भी रहे थे। 22 सितम्बर 2013 को उनका निधन हुआ था।
इस अवसर पर श्री अवधेश प्रसाद एवं श्री राजेन्द्र चौधरी पूर्वमंत्रीगण तथा पूर्व सांसद श्री अरविन्द कुमार सिंह, विधायकगण कमाल अख्तर, प्रदीप कुमार, श्री रफीक अंसारी, पूर्व एमएलसी श्री रामबृक्ष सिंह यादव एवं श्री उदयवीर सिंह, समाजवादी युवजन सभा के पूर्व राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष श्री विकास यादव, छात्रसभा के पूर्व प्रदेश अध्यक्ष श्री दिग्विजय सिंह देव, कोषाध्यक्ष उत्तराखण्ड प्रदेश श्री एस.के. राय, प्रदेश अध्यक्ष समाजवादी शिक्षक सभा श्री एस.पी. सिंह पटेल, डॉ0 कुलदीप सक्सेना, चौधरी राजपाल सिंह, साधु यादव, बन्ने खां की उपस्थिति उल्लेखनीय रही।
