प्रयागराज, भारत: यदुपति सिंघानिया मेमोरियल स्क्वैश ओपन 2025 का आयोजन 17 से 20 नवंबर, 2025 तक अमिताभ बच्चन स्पोर्ट्स कॉम्प्लेक्स, प्रयागराज में किया जाएगा। यह टूर्नामेंट भारत के उभरते स्क्वैश खिलाड़ियों का एक शानदार संगम होगा।
इस प्रतियोगिता में 21 राज्यों से 11 वर्गों में कुल 219 प्रविष्टियाँ प्राप्त हुई हैं, जो उत्तर प्रदेश स्क्वैश कैलेंडर की सबसे प्रतिष्ठित और बहुप्रतीक्षित प्रतियोगिताओं में से एक के रूप में इसकी बढ़ती लोकप्रियता को दर्शाती हैं।
यह राष्ट्रीय सर्किट टूर्नामेंट उत्तर प्रदेश स्क्वैश रैकेट्स एसोसिएशन के तत्वावधान में आयोजित किया जा रहा है। यह स्वर्गीय श्री यदुपति सिंघानिया को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करता है, जो एक औद्योगिक दूरदर्शी और खेल प्रेमी थे। खेल प्रतिभा को निखारने और खेल उत्कृष्टता को बढ़ावा देने के उनके जुनून से आज भी नई पीढ़ियाँ प्रेरित होती हैं।

“यदुपति सिंघानिया मेमोरियल स्क्वैश ओपन, उत्तर प्रदेश स्क्वैश कैलेंडर में एक विशेष स्थान रखता है। यह स्वर्गीय श्री यदुपति सिंघानिया की खेल विकास के प्रति अटूट निष्ठा और युवा खिलाड़ियों को आगे बढ़ाने के उनके प्रयासों को समर्पित है। इस वर्ष 21 राज्यों से रिकॉर्ड स्तर की भागीदारी यह दर्शाती है कि स्क्वैश के प्रति उत्साह कितना बढ़ा है और यह आयोजन क्षेत्र के प्रमुख टूर्नामेंटों में से एक बन चुका है।”
श्री विनय पांडे, सचिव, उत्तर प्रदेश स्क्वैश रैकेट्स एसोसिएशन (UPSRA) ने कहा:
“यदुपति सिंघानिया मेमोरियल स्क्वैश ओपन के प्रति उत्साह यह दर्शाता है कि उत्तर प्रदेश में स्क्वैश ने कितनी मजबूत गति प्राप्त की है। यह टूर्नामेंट प्रतिस्पर्धा के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण मानक स्थापित करता है और युवा खिलाड़ियों को अपनी प्रतिभा दिखाने का एक उत्कृष्ट मंच प्रदान करता है। हमें इतनी व्यापक भागीदारी पर गर्व है और हम राज्यभर में स्क्वैश को और सशक्त बनाने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध हैं।”
चार दिवसीय यह आयोजन विभिन्न आयु वर्गों अंडर ११,१३,१५,१७,१९ एवं पुरुष एवं अंडर 15,17,19,एवं महिला वर्ग में आयोजित की जाएगी
यह प्रतियोगिता नोक आउट बेसिस पर आयोजित होगी।इस प्रतियोगिता में पुरुष एवं महिला वर्ग के विजेता को नगद पुरस्कार सी सम्मानित किया जाएगा।जूनियर और सीनियर दोनों वर्गों में खिलाड़ियों के बीच मुकाबलों का साक्षी बनेगा, जिसकी फाइनल प्रतियोगिता 20 नवंबर 2025 को आयोजित होगी। यह टूर्नामेंट ग्रासरूट स्तर पर स्क्वैश के विकास में अहम भूमिका निभा रहा है और उत्तर प्रदेश को भारत में स्क्वैश के एक प्रमुख केंद्र के रूप में स्थापित कर रहा है।
