कैंसर के ट्यूमर ने बंद कर दी थी सांस की नली, 42 साल की कज़ाख महिला मौत के करीब — अमृता अस्पताल की टीम ने दी नई जिंदगी
दिल्ली के बड़े अस्पताल में वेंटिलेटर पर जिंदगी और मौत के बीच झूल रही मरीज का गला खुला, सांस लौटी और घर वापसी हुई — सिर्फ तीन दिन में हुआ चमत्कार
नई दिल्ली, 12 अगस्त 2025 : कज़ाखस्तान की 42 साल की महिला फेफड़ों के कैंसर की पुनरावृत्ति (Relapse) के कारण मौत के मुहाने पर पहुंच गई थीं। उनके गले की सांस की नली (ट्रेकिआ) का निचला हिस्सा ट्यूमर से पूरी तरह बंद हो चुका था। वे वेंटिलेटर पर थीं और खुद सांस नहीं ले पा रही थीं।
दिल्ली के एक बड़े कॉर्पोरेट अस्पताल में कई दिनों तक इलाज की कोशिशें नाकाम रहीं। सर्जरी बेहद जोखिम भरी थी और वेंटिलेटर पर रहते हुए कैंसर का इलाज संभव नहीं था। ऐसे में उन्हें अमृता अस्पताल, फरीदाबाद रेफर किया गया, जहां एक विशेष टीम — डॉ. अर्जुन खन्ना, डॉ. सौरभ पाहुजा और डॉ. प्रदीप बाजद — ने केस अपने हाथ में लिया।
“मरीज की सांस की नली लगभग पूरी तरह बंद थी और वह एक हफ्ते से वेंटिलेटर पर थीं। हमने ब्रॉन्कोस्कोप से ट्यूमर का हिस्सा हटाकर नली में स्टेंट डालने का निर्णय लिया,” बताया डॉ. सौरभ पाहुजा ने, जिन्होंने इस प्रक्रिया का नेतृत्व किया।
उन्नत तकनीक से हुई इस प्रक्रिया के बाद नली तुरंत खुल गई थी। अगले दिन ही मरीज वेंटिलेटर से मुक्त होकर खुद सांस लेने लगीं और तीसरे दिन घर जाने के लिए तैयार हो गई थीं।
यह हस्तक्षेप न सिर्फ जान बचाने वाला साबित हुआ, बल्कि मरीज फिर से कीमोथेरेपी और इम्यूनोथेरेपी जैसे इलाज के लिए भी सक्षम हो गईं। बिना इस प्रक्रिया के उनकी जान पर गंभीर खतरा बना रहता।
“ऐसे मामलों में हर पल कीमती होता है। इंटरवेंशनल पल्मोनोलॉजी ऐसे मरीजों के लिए आखिरी उम्मीद हो सकती है,” डॉ. पाहुजा ने कहा।
भावुक मरीज ने कहा, “मैं इलाज की उम्मीद में भारत आई थी, लेकिन वेंटिलेटर पर पहुंच गई थी। आज मैं चल रही हूं, सांस ले रही हूं और जिंदा घर लौट रही हूं। यह मेरे लिए नया जीवन है।”
अमृता अस्पताल, फरीदाबाद जटिल और गंभीर वायुमार्ग संबंधी मामलों में तेज़ी से एक भरोसेमंद केंद्र बन चुका है, जहां कई ऐसे मरीजों की जिंदगी बदली गई है जिन्हें अन्य जगहों पर उम्मीद नहीं मिल पाई थी।
