नई दिल्ली: जर्मनी ने भारतीय कुशल श्रमिकों के लिए कार्य वीजा प्रसंस्करण का समय नौ महीने से घटाकर केवल दो सप्ताह कर दिया है। यह विकास अपने कार्यबल की कमी को दूर करने के लिए कुशल श्रमिकों को आकर्षित करने की जर्मनी की तत्काल आवश्यकता के हिस्से के रूप में आता है।
जर्मन विदेश मंत्री एनालेना बेयरबॉक ने देश की आर्थिक वृद्धि को बनाए रखने में कुशल श्रमिकों के महत्व पर जोर दिया। “विदेशी मामलों की संघीय एजेंसी आज पहले से ही दुनिया भर में राष्ट्रीय वीज़ा के लिए सबसे बड़ा वीज़ा कार्यालय है। और हमें यहां कुशल श्रमिकों की भी तत्काल आवश्यकता है जो इसका समर्थन करना जारी रख सकें। भारत, दिल्ली में, हम इस प्रकार राष्ट्रीय वीज़ा के लिए प्रतीक्षा समय को कम करने में सक्षम हैं दो सप्ताह के लिए वीज़ा। इसमें नौ महीने लगते थे,” बेयरबॉक ने कहा।

जनवरी से जून 2024 तक, जर्मनी ने 80,000 रोजगार-संबंधित वीजा दिए, इनमें से 50% कुशल श्रमिकों के थे – 2023 की इसी अवधि की तुलना में 3,000 की वृद्धि।
जर्मनी के विदेश मंत्रालय ने इन चुनौतियों से निपटने के लिए 2023 में ‘वीज़ा एक्सेलेरेशन एक्शन प्लान’ लॉन्च किया, हालांकि IW ने आगाह किया कि यह योजना आर्थिक नुकसान को पूरी तरह से नहीं रोक सकती है।
