वक्फ संपत्ति बेदखली विधेयक 2014 को सरकार ने वापस ले लिया
नई दिल्ली: भारत सरकार ने गुरुवार को राज्यसभा में वक्फ संपत्ति (अनधिकृत कब्जाधारियों की बेदखली) विधेयक, 2014 को आधिकारिक तौर पर वापस ले लिया। वक्फ संपत्तियों से अनधिकृत कब्जाधारियों को बेदखल करने के लिए एक तंत्र स्थापित करने के लिए शुरू में पेश किया गया विधेयक लगभग एक दशक से विचाराधीन था।
वक्फ संपत्ति विधेयक, 2014 पहली बार 18 फरवरी 2014 को तत्कालीन अल्पसंख्यक मामलों के मंत्री के रहमान खान द्वारा राज्यसभा में पेश किया गया था। विधेयक का उद्देश्य वक्फ बोर्डों को अवैध कब्जेदारों से वक्फ संपत्तियों को पुनः प्राप्त करने के लिए आवश्यक कानूनी उपकरण प्रदान करना है। इसने प्रक्रिया को सुव्यवस्थित करने के लिए एक बेदखली तंत्र की स्थापना का प्रस्ताव रखा, जिससे यह सुनिश्चित किया जा सके कि संपत्तियां उनके सही धार्मिक या धर्मार्थ उद्देश्यों के लिए वापस कर दी गईं।
