होम क्रेडिट इंडिया के ‘द ग्रेट इंडियन वॉलेट’ अध्ययन से वित्तीय स्थिरता पर बढ़ती आत्मविश्वास का खुलासा
पटना: होम क्रेडिट इंडिया (HCIN) ने अपने वार्षिक उपभोक्ता सर्वेक्षण ‘द ग्रेट इंडियन वॉलेट’ के दूसरे संस्करण के नतीजे जारी किए हैं, जिसमें उपभोक्ताओं के वित्तीय व्यवहार पर महत्वपूर्ण जानकारी दी गई है। इस अध्ययन में 17 शहरों के 2500 उपभोक्ताओं का सर्वेक्षण किया गया, जिनकी आय 2 लाख से 5 लाख रुपये सालाना के बीच है।
अध्ययन के अनुसार, 74% उपभोक्ता उम्मीद करते हैं कि अगले साल उनकी आय में वृद्धि होगी, और लगभग दो-तिहाई उपभोक्ता दावा करते हैं कि वे अधिक बचत (66%) और निवेश (66%) करने में सक्षम होंगे। हैदराबाद में व्यक्तिगत मासिक आय सबसे अधिक (44 हजार रुपये) पाई गई।
अध्ययन से पता चला कि एक औसत निम्न-मध्यम वर्गीय भारतीय के लिए किराना (26%) और किराया (21%) मुख्य खर्च हैं। शहरी मध्यम वर्ग के लोग स्थानीय यात्रा, दर्शनीय स्थल, बाहर खाना और सिनेमा जैसे मनोरंजन के माध्यमों में रुचि रखते हैं।
इसके अलावा, 42% उपभोक्ता UPI पर क्रेडिट के संभावित उपयोग को लेकर सकारात्मक हैं, जो उपयोगकर्ताओं को अपने UPI-सक्षम ऐप्स के माध्यम से त्वरित क्रेडिट तक पहुंचने की सुविधा देता है। 24% उपभोक्ता भविष्य में छोटे लेनदेन के लिए UPI लाइट का उपयोग करने की उम्मीद करते हैं।
क्रेडिट ऑन UPI अपनाने का मुख्य कारण इसका समय बचाने की क्षमता (53%) और खरीदारी को आसान बनाना (44%) बताया गया। हालांकि, कुछ उपभोक्ताओं को “क्रेडिट ऑन UPI” का उपयोग करने में संकोच है, क्योंकि उन्हें लगता है कि इससे कर्ज के जाल में फंसने की संभावना अधिक है (31%), अधिक खर्च की चिंता (28%), उच्च ब्याज दरें (24%), और उच्च प्रसंस्करण और अन्य शुल्क (7%) हैं। 64% उपभोक्ता UPI सेवा को बंद कर देंगे यदि यह शुल्क आधारित हो जाती है।

अध्ययन से यह भी पता चला कि औसत व्यक्तिगत मासिक आय 2024 में मेट्रो शहरों के लिए 35k और टियर 1 और 2 शहरों के लिए 32k है, जो 2023 में 33k (मेट्रो), 30k (टियर 1), और 27k (टियर 2) से बढ़ गई है। बैंगलोर, हैदराबाद और पुणे ने उच्च आय स्तर के साथ महत्वपूर्ण केंद्र के रूप में उभरते हुए आय में वृद्धि की है।
उपभोक्ताओं की बचत प्राथमिकताओं पर, लगभग 60% उपभोक्ता अपने मासिक निश्चित खर्चों को कवर करने के बाद आपातकालीन खर्चों के लिए नकद रिजर्व बनाने को प्राथमिकता देते हैं। पुरुष (62%) महिलाओं (50%) की तुलना में अधिक बचत करते हैं। इसी तरह, जेन जेड (68%) बचत के प्रति अधिक झुकाव दिखाता है।
डिजिटल लेन-देन के क्षेत्र में, UPI (यूनिफाइड पेमेंट्स इंटरफेस) एक महत्वपूर्ण बिंदु बना हुआ है। 72% उपभोक्ता वर्तमान में UPI का उपयोग कर रहे हैं, जिनमें से अधिकांश उपयोगकर्ता पुरुष, जेन जेड और मेट्रो निवासी हैं। चेन्नई में UPI का उपयोग सबसे अधिक (90%) और अहमदाबाद में सबसे कम (58%) है।
